Playing our role in the local community is something that's very important to all of us at Balhousie Care. Many of our residents have lived in the communities where our homes are located, and retaining links with the community is another aspect of ensuring that residents feel truly "at home" in a Balhousie Care home.

We have regular visits to our homes from members of the local community. Schoolchilden, Church congregations, Shopowners, local entertainers - all of these are part of the fabric of the societies in which we live. These are just some of the members of the community that contribute to everyday life at a Balhousie Care home and we thank them for that.

Our staff are also involved in local community projects and fundraising. Duck races, pancake days, harvest thanksgivings, Easter bonnet parades, local football and netball teams - you'll see Balhousie Care Group represented at most of these events.
