Palliative Care
|
This can naturally be a very difficult and emotional time for all involved. Balhousie Care homes and Balhousie Care management and staff provide the best possible quality of remaining life for residents by providing sensitive and tender care. However, we see our prime role as the provider of palliative care as "adding quality to days" by doing everything we can to make a resident as comfortable and as stress free as possible. Words of appreciation...
- The thing I most enjoy is the interaction with residents and family members. Being part of a team that delivers high quality care, often in the latter years of an individual's life, while trying to promote their independence is a big responsibility. I think it's hugely important to be able to make that time as easy and comfortable as possible. Manager, Balhousie Lisden Care Home
