Our resident Kate is an avid walker and we try and get out as much as we can, weather permitting. We do like Dawson Park as there is usually a few people out walking their dogs and happy to stop and have a chat.

Alison the activities coordinator will sometimes also bring her own dog, Bruar, along to join the walk. Kate thinks this is great as her family have always had dogs and this sparks a lot of reminising.

Today on our walk around the park the Duntrune Demonstration Gardens were open, so we decided to go in and have a look around.

Both Kate and Alison were surpised to find the hidden gem of gardens and ponds. Lots of diffent styles and plants to look at.

There were a couple of gardeners in and Kate had a great time chatting away and sharing stories.
