Our FFE Burns Supper night 1 was a great success with 35 guests (including residents) attending.

Activities Co-ordinator, Tanya Smith commented;

This year is our 3rd year of doing FFE Burns Suppers and tonight was the best one to date. It was fantastic to see residents and their loved ones having such a good time together. Comments at the end of the night from guests were full of praise and joy which proved to us how meaningful these events really are."

Meaning of FFE = Family Focussed Event.

These events are to provide residents and their loved ones quality family time without the worry of going out of the care home environment and the fear of something happening and not knowing how to deal with it such as in-continence, behavioural outbursts or the resident becoming ill. We are here to assist throughout the event if needed but we like to give the residents and their loved ones as much space as possible during these events.
