It's been a busy few weeks at Lisden Care Home as residents prepared for this years Halloween celebrations.

We've had weekly trips to Kirriemuir Connections Craft Classes, carved pumpkins, made paper lanterns, decorated the home, researched the origins and history of halloween through the ages, made and read poetry, held a Halloween reminiscent session, had a ghostly story telling  from Geraint Davies of Kirriemuir Library, hosted a Halloween Group Quiz and Riddles session and tucked into some tasty sweet treats.

These activities are carefully designed and implemented to promote interaction, exercise and movement, mental stimulation, dexterity, independent skills and community access and inclusion for the residents in our care, whose health and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do.

It's great to see everyone getting involved and having fun in the process.
