Valentine’s Day this year was busy for all those at Luncarty House.

The Local nursery came over to help make Valentine’s craft with the residents and there was a Valentine’s themed snack and Meal.
For one couple this year was extra special. Gordon and Margaret Turnbull celebrated their 58th Married year together.
Gordon and Margaret both Live at Luncarty and both spend every waking minute with one another, Gordon ensuring his beloved wife is ok, keeping Staff in check. They enjoyed a day filled with love and laughter as they celebrated with friends and enjoyed a beautiful romantic candlelit dinner in the home.
Gordon and Margaret met in Methven, Perthshire 1957 and were Married on 17 August 1957 at Comrie Old Parish Church  
After they married they moved to Coatbridge, They lived a very happy and far travelled life eventually settling down in Scone in1994.
Margaret and Gordon both moved into Luncarty in 2015 and spend each day together often getting visits form family members which they enjoy.
Gordon had asked staff to buy Margaret the nicest bunch of flowers we could find. Margaret loved them.

Speaking of their celebration, Gordon said, “Yesterday was lovely. Everything was done to make the day special for us, the meal was very nice and table decoration thoughtful.”
