Marty & Peter Donaldson who work at the Alford Motor Museum came along to the home on Friday to show off many different objects from World War 1. They had 4 boxes containing different objects, boxes included medals, children's toys, letters, knitting, bullets etc. Residents got to hold and study each object for as long as they liked but they had to wear white gloves as some of the objects were quite old and very precious.

Many of our residents came along to enjoy the afternoon and had a marvellous time.

Comments from residents after the visit included;                                                                                                                                                                                                               "It was something different and I like that"                                                                                                                                         "Best ever"

We are so thankful to Marty and Peter for being so patient, helpful and knowledgeable and we hope to see them again with some different resources. Peter has been to the home numerous times before with old photo shows which are much enjoyed.
