Today we had the children from Rothiemay Playgroup in to spend time with the residents. The children brought some craft materials with them to make cards and pictures with the residents which many of the residents really enjoyed helping with.

Intergenerational work is very special to us here at Balhousie Huntly. We find it is a great way to get residents involved with the community and also a different form of activity stimulation. We have now interected with Intergenerational work with the Primary School many times - through different intergenerational projects, the local High School with students coming along to participate in activities with the residents and the Rothiemay Playgroup. We hope this continues as it is so beneficial and meaningful to our residents.
