Dawn Cruden is a Care Assistant at Clement Park and a regular user of the Balhousie Bank system.

We asked Dawn 4 questions about her experience with using the Bank and here’s what she said.

Q1. What are the benefits of using the Balhousie Bank?

A. Picking up bank shifts benefits me as I can earn extra money through the month rather than waiting a month for payday.

Q2. How does getting paid weekly for Bank shifts help?

A. I don’t have to wait till payday to be paid and means it’s easier to budget my expenses. It also means I can make some extra money.

Q3. How easy is the Bank system to use to pick up shifts?

A. It’s really easy. You simply go on to the website, click on the shifts you want to pick up then once you’ve done the shift it’s paid the following week.

Q4. Would you encourage others to use the Balhousie Bank?

A. Yes absolutely, it’s easy to use and a great way of earning extra money during the month.

Dawn is a great example of how using the Balhousie Bank can work. Not only is it good for you, it's even better for the residents who recieve continuity in care.
