Moyness Care Home is ideally located in the secluded area of Broughty Ferry.

The town remains a popular regional holiday destination and is a pleasant waterfront suburb of Dundee, the centre of which is about two miles away. Situated in its own substantial grounds in a residential area it is conveniently close to local services and the local community. Balhousie Moyness is an attractive property, originally constructed in 1876, now benefiting from a modern extension added around fifteen years ago.

After operating independently for 20 years, Moyness Care Home became part of the Balhousie Care Group in 2007. Our experienced and well trained staff provides nursing care to a maximum of 33 residents in the home, all of whom are able to enjoy en suite facilities to all bedrooms including the three double rooms.

Fee Information

Our weekly fee rates for full nursing care depend on individual circumstances. However, as a guide range from £550 (the Local Authority rate) and £730 per week for residents not funded by the local authority. All residents have specific care requirements and residents with higher dependency levels may incur additional fees. It is not possible to predetermine exact fee levels until a full assessment has been undertaken, following which residents will be provided with clear documentation outlining fees chargeable for their care. Charges for extras are kept to a minimum but for example the supply of personal newspapers, provision of hairdressing and so on will incur a small additional charge.
