More Information

The rural setting for Balhousie Rumbling Bridge Care Home is situated on the A823 in the county of Perth & Kinross. Rumbling Bridge takes its name from the strange double bridge that crosses a local narrow gorge and also the sound of the water rushing through the gorge makes a gentle "rumbling" sound that can be heard in the distance.

The building was originally a hotel before it was converted to a care home and became part of the Balhousie Care Group in 2005. Its scenic location and extensive formal gardens provide a tranquil back drop to this elegant building. This really is a beautiful countryside setting for a care home and is very popular with residents and their families.

Our experienced and well trained staff can provide nursing care to a maximum of 48 residents, the majority of which have en suite facilities to each bedroom including a small number of double rooms.

Fee Information

Our weekly fee rates for full nursing care depend on individual circumstances. However, as a guide range from £550 (the Local Authority rate) and £725 per week for residents not funded by the local authority. All residents have specific care requirements and residents with higher dependency levels may incur additional fees. It is not possible to predetermine exact fee levels until a full assessment has been undertaken, following which residents will be provided with clear documentation outlining fees chargeable for their care. Charges for extras are kept to a minimum but for example the supply of personal newspapers, provision of hairdressing and so on will incur a small additional charge.
