Balhousie Stormont became part of the Balhousie Care Group in November 2007. It is a well appointed Residential Care Home in Blairgowrie, Perthshire with a registered capacity for 32 residents.

Situated in a residential location within its own extensive grounds, allowing the residents to enjoy a range of indoor and outdoor activities, it is approximately 3/4 of a mile outside the Town Centre. The original building was constructed in the mid 1800's, and was extended in 1999. The home caters for residents requiring both long term and respite care.

Blairgowrie is situated on the River Ericht and is a busy rural town in the Perthshire hills with a strong farming and textile tradition. It has now grown into a well known tourist centre having easy access to the mountains and hills that surround it.

Fee Information

Our weekly fee rates depend on individual circumstances and room choice, but as a guide range from £474 (the Local Authority rate) to £585 per week for residents not funded by the local authority. All residents have specific care requirements and for example residents with higher dependency levels may incur additional fees. It is not possible to predetermine exact fee levels until a full assessment has been undertaken, following which residents will be provided with clear documentation outlining fees chargeable for their care. Charges for extras are kept to a minimum but for example the receipt of personal newspapers, hairdressing and so on will incur a small additional charge.
