The Grange became part of the Balhousie Care Group in March 2002, situated 5 miles to the East of Perth in the Perthshire countryside, alongside the main A94 Perth to Coupar Angus road (2 miles north east of New Scone) The Grange Care Home is the prime facility in the Balhousie Group for adults of all ages with learning difficulties.

A recent addition to the facilities at The Grange has been the newly constructed purpose built Dalguise Centre. The centre is a highly specialised nurse led facility set within the extensive and impressive grounds of Balhousie Grange. The Dalguise Centre, which can house up to 10 adults, will compliment the 32 bed residential care unit at The Grange, which already delivers specialist care to adults of all ages with learning difficulties.

The Grange is a lively home which sits within its own extensive grounds, and allows the residents to enjoy a range of indoor and outdoor activities as well as many organised events away from the Centre. The home caters for residents requiring both long term and respite care.

Fee Information

Our weekly fee rates for full nursing care depend on individual circumstances. However, as a guide range from £474 (the Local Authority rate). All residents have specific care requirements and residents with higher dependency levels may incur additional fees. It is not possible to predetermine exact fee levels until a full assessment has been undertaken, following which residents will be provided with clear documentation outlining fees chargeable for their care. Charges for extras are kept to a minimum but for example the supply of personal newspapers, provision of hairdressing and so on will incur a small additional charge.
