Once the home of the Ure family, many of the original features from the 19th century have been retained, including the elegant dining room and beautiful family room. Standing above the village of Bonnybridge the home enjoys extensive views, yet is just 4 miles from Falkirk, 8 miles from Stirling, 20 miles from Glasgow and 20 miles from Edinburgh.

With the ability to care for both nursing and residential clients Wheatlands is a flexible and friendly home that became part of the Balhousie Care Group in September 2008.

Our experienced and well trained staff can provide nursing and residential care to a maximum of 59 residents.

Fee Information

Our weekly fee rates for full nursing care depend on individual circumstances. However, as a guide range from £550 (the Local Authority rate) and £700 per week for residents not funded by the local authority. All residents have specific care requirements and residents with higher dependency levels may incur additional fees. It is not possible to predetermine exact fee levels until a full assessment has been undertaken, following which residents will be provided with clear documentation outlining fees chargeable for their care. Charges for extras are kept to a minimum but for example the supply of personal newspapers, provision of hairdressing and so on will incur a small additional charge.
