Balhousie Care Group announce acquisition of two care homes

In September 2008, we announced the successful take-over of two care homes in Perthshire and Stirlingshire. ‘Ruthven Towers', Auchterarder and ‘Wheatlands', Bonnybridge are welcome additions, adding another 103 beds, to Balhousie Care Group's growing portfolio of care homes across Scotland.

The Balhousie Care Group is one of the leading care home operators in Scotland and has substantial experience in developing both brand new purpose built facilities and redeveloping and refurbishing existing care facilities. Recent or current plans for expansion at the Scottish group include building new care homes in Pitlochry, Dundee and adding additional beds in a number of it's existing locations. Balhousie Care Group now has over 600 beds and has ambitious expansion plans for 2009. The growing organisation has its Head Office in Forfar, Angus.
