Management

The Behavioural Support and Intervention team have a number of open referrals at the ASC service, as a result we have regular clinical meetings to discuss progress and to provide advice and support to ASC. We find these a useful forum to share information and positive practice. The recommendations that we make are discussed and then implemented to improve the well-being of clients and to reduce levels of challenging or distressed behaviour. We find that staff are well prepared for these meetings, and have accurate and up to date knowledge of presenting problems. We find these are successful in establishing effective communication and will continue to schedule these on a regular basis to maintain the collaborative working between the team and the ASC services.’
