Purpose of the role: 

To support, develop and improve the wellbeing of each individual resident by providing a one to one group level companionship. To support the care staff in non-direct duties when required.

Your role in the Balhousie team: 

To work with the wider team and relatives to build relationships and improve the wellbeing of residents within the home. Working alongside the person responsible for activites and community involvment events. Support the wellbeing outcomes of individuals. Complete documentation as and when required.

Essential Qualities and Skills: 

The successful candidate will have a passion for improving the wellbeing of individuals. Have a positive attitude. Have a flexible approach to working. It would be beneficial to have a knowledge of the care service  and how it operates aswell as the challenges that face a care home environment.


The successful candidate will also have a proven track record of good communication and ability to communicate at all levels.

Pay and Benefits: 

£7.95per hour Balhousie Care Group offer a wide range of benefits which our staff can access.
