The Grange is a stunning, classic former country house, set within beautiful private gardens. The home has been elegantly updated in order to provide our residents with a spacious, relaxing and comfortable environment in which they feel safe, secure and most importantly, at home. We offer a full range of caring support including residential, nursing and respite care. Our staff also specialise in Alzheimer's and Dementia care and the care needs of adults with disabilities. Our team is fully trained to meet the specific requirements of each resident and this is at the forefront of all that we do. Manager's Perspective

Caring for people is our passion. Managing that care within an ever-changing world is our business. Our managers aim is to provide their residents with the highest standards of care at all times. To achieve this, we have a strong commitment to keep abreast of care industry developments and to pursue excellence. Your care is our passion.


  • The Behavioural Support and Intervention team have a number of open referrals at the ASC service, as a result we have regular clinical meetings to discuss progress and to provide advice and support to ASC. We find these a useful forum to share information and positive practice. The recommendations that we make are discussed and then implemented to improve the well-being of clients and to reduce levels of challenging or distressed behaviour. We find that staff are well prepared for these meetings, and have accurate and up to date knowledge of presenting problems. We find these are successful in establishing effective communication and will continue to schedule these on a regular basis to maintain the collaborative working between the team and the ASC services.’

The environment my team creates for our residents is vibrant, enthusiastic, curious, engaging and forming. We have moved forward significantly in recent months and are dedicated to working hard to continue the progress already made.

Here at the home, we actively encourage our residents to take part in various day trips, activities or events organised by us and we feel these have unparalleled benefits on their health, happiness and well-being.

Working with the Community

Community engagement is a huge, daily focus for us. We have service users out shopping on a daily basis, have had recent trips to the ‘Motor Museum’, ‘Safari Park’, ‘Sea Life Centre’, various ‘Football Grounds’ and in the next month will be going to Ben Nevis on a ‘Walking Trip’.

The aspects I personally feel sets us apart from other homes are our high quality of staff, their motivation and the desire to set new challenges for the benefit of our residents and service users.
