Welcome to Balhousie Pitlochry Care Home, Pitlochry, Perthshire

Balhousie Pitlochry is one of our newer, more modern homes. It was built in order to provide residents with a spacious, relaxing and comfortable environment in which they would feel safe, secure and most importantly, at home.

We also have a specialist 11-bed Dementia facility that incorporates many features designed to help residents with Dementia-related conditions.

We offer a full range of caring support including residential, nursing, respite and palliative care in addition to specialising in Alzheimer's and Dementia care.

Our team is fully trained to meet the specific care needs of each resident and this is at the forefront of all that we do.

Environment

Here at Pitlochry, our aim is to create an environment which is calm and relaxed for our residents. Our team are professional, caring and strive to achieve the best atmosphere for our residents at all times.

We actively encourage our residents to take part in various day trips, activities or events organised by our team and feel these have unparalleled benefits on their health, happiness and well-being.

Activities and Events

We recently had a cheese and wine evening at which relatives, visitors, residents and staff from our local area came together to meet each other, chat and relax. Our residents vastly enjoyed meeting new people, catching up with old friends and family and it was such a success that we are planning to host these on a regular basis in the future.

Life for our Residents

How would I describe life for our residents here at Pitlochry? Comfortable, dignified and happy. As Manager, if my residents and staff are happy, I'm happy.
