CARE HOME MANAGERS

Salary circa £33k depending on skills/experience

As part of our continued growth we are currently recruiting for Care Home Managers within various homes within our portfolio.

As a Care Home Manager we will look to you to lead, develop and foster a strong team working relationship to ensure resident, relative and employee satisfaction and maintain a high level of professionalism which enhances our reputation in the care home sector.

Applicants will be expected to have a full working knowledge of regulatory requirements in regards to national care standards and other statutory bodies.  Appropriate management qualifications as required by the Scottish Social Services Council are preferred or the ability to work towards these qualifications is essential.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring a high level of quality and resident satisfaction are achieved
  • Ensure full and consistent compliance with all our internal procedures and external bodies
  • Attainment of resident service levels and internal KPI targets
  • Control and implementation of operational procedures

DEMENTIA LIAISON NURSE

Multi Site Role

Balhousie Care Group is the largest independently owned operator of care homes in the East of Scotland with currently twenty care homes delivering residential nursing care to the elderly and other specialist groups.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join our successful team.

As a Dementia Liaison Nurse you must hold a current NMC pin no and be committed to continuous training and development.

Job Purpose:

  • Assessing and planning support within the main Dementia Units
  • Monitoring of high quality care, support and service
  • Liaising with Alzheimer Scotland
  • The development and implementation of existing and new services to meet future customer needs
  • Delivering corporate communications to ensure consistency
  • Championing Balhousie Care Group’s corporate standards, policies, procedures and practices
  • Identifying and developing key stakeholder relationships

The post holder will be based at Balhousie Care Group’s Head Offices, Forfar, and be expected to travel to all Balhousie Care Group Homes on a regular basis therefore a driving licence is essential.

  • Administering drugs
  • Mentoring of staff and student nurses

Senior Care Assistants

Various Locations

As part of our continued growth, we are looking to recruit individuals to join our successful teams.

As a Senior Carer you will hold an SVQ3. You will assist and support the nursing staff in delivering all aspects of running the home including providing personal care and support to residents and participating in social activities.  You will be responsible for prioritising and delegating tasks to the care staff whilst providing support and supervision. You will be responsible for assessing, developing and writing a care plan and keeping accurate, legible and timeous records.
