On Sunday 25th January, residents, relatives, friends and staff of Balhousie Stormont Care Home, Blairgowrie enjoyed a tremendous Burns Night celebration. The evening commenced with the Piping of the Haggis and a traditional dinner – enjoyed by all! Dinner was followed by Burns music and recital, and entertainment from The Ericht Scottish Country Dancers.
The evening was a real family affair as the ‘Address to The Haggis’ was given by Major Ronnie Proctor who is the son-in-law of Balhousie Stormont resident, Mrs Ella Griffin. In addition, Mrs Griffin’s grandson ‘Piped In The Haggis’.
