Christmas celebrations got off to a good start at Balhousie Glens in Edzell with their annual Christmas Fayre which took place on Saturday 1 December 2007 and more than £500 was raised for the Comfort Fund.
The event, which was well attended by residents, families and members of the public, offered all the traditional attractions including stalls offering a big selection of Christmas items and a grand raffle with Christmas hampers and a radio controlled helicopter as some of the prizes.
Not surprisingly, Santa stole the show, with everyone - not just the children - grabbing the opportunity to pass on their Christmas wishlist!
A very big thank you goes to all our friends and families who supported the event, to those who helped out on the day and especially to Ann Russell for all her hard work.
