At the special request of Balhousie Alastrean resident, Agnes a Group of residents from the care home enjoyed a successful trip to the Garden Centre at Inverurie. Agnes has a keen interest in gardening and relished looking round the various spring plants on display. For the non-gardeners of the party, there was a lovely display of household decorations, novelties and candles – which the ladies particularly enjoyed looking at. The highlight of the trip for all however were the teas; freshly made doughnuts, giant meringues and home-made traybakes – all of which put a smile on the visitors’ faces.
