We were delighted to recently hand over a cheque to Rachel Cheer from CHAS representing the £31,488.35 which Balhousie Care Group staff, residents and friends of Balhousie have raised for CHAS in the last twelve months.
Thanking us for the donation, Rachel Cheer said that this would make a significant contribution to the excellent work done by CHAS and enable a number of projects and initiatives to be properly funded.
Tony Banks (Chairman, Balhousie Care Group) said he was personally delighted that Balhousie Care could support CHAS and pledged to give his personal support for another year.
If you'd like to make a donation to CHAS (large or small, it all makes a difference), you can easily do so online by visiting http://www.chas.org.uk/donate.html

Words of appreciation...
- Caring to me means fulfilling residents' needs and requirements, making them comfortable and happy in the home environment Carer at Balhousie Pitlochry Care Home
- The thing I most enjoy is the interaction with residents and family members. Being part of a team that delivers high quality care, often in the latter years of an individual's life, while trying to promote their independence is a big responsibility. I think it's hugely important to be able to make that time as easy and comfortable as possible. Manager, Balhousie Lisden Care Home
- What Balhousie Care staff did was beyond the call of duty and we appreciate the work that made Mum's birthday special, even though we had to help her with the blowing out of the candles! Daughter of Resident at Balhousie North Inch Care Home
The goal of Balhousie Care Group is to be acknowledged as the leading and most admired provider of residential care in Scotland.
