Balhousie Pitlochry Care Home Christmas Open Day

The home which was officially opened in February 2009 opened its doors to the local community to welcome friends, relatives and residents to a musical afternoon to celebrate our first Christmas.

The afternoon was a great success with more than a hundred people sharing in the mulled wine, finger buffet and entertainment. The "Friends of Balhousie" lead the singing of traditional Christmas carols around the Christmas tree outside, and everyone enjoyed the traditional Scottish music provided by the Perth & District Strathspey Reel Society in the upper lounge.

A huge thank you to all the staff who made the day very special and we look forward to having many more parties in the future.
