Over 250 guests wined, dined and donated during the evening, raising more than £30,000 for CHAS as a result. The two "star" items in the auction ( a luxury 5 star weekend in Venice and 4 VIP hospitality tickets for the Monaco F1 Grand Prix) alone raised almost £14,000 during highly enthusiastic and competitive bidding, encouraged by the evening's auctioneer and Balhousie non-exec Director Ross Smith.
Tony Banks, Chairman and Founder of Balhousie Care Group said that tonight is a night when we come together to demonstrate our continued support and admiration for the wonderful work that CHAS does at Rachel House, Robin House and CHAS @ HOME. Children and young adults, parents, siblings and even grandparents benefit enormously from the support and expertise of CHAS. It is an inspirational organisation and we are delighted to play our part in showing them how much we appreciate the wonderful work they do.
