The Easter Tea at Alastrean was once again a huge success. The home was bursting with Easter Bonnets of all shapes, colours and sizes that the staff and residents had been busy making on the run up to the big day. The afternoon tea was a great success with us all piling on the pounds with simnel and carrott cake, Easter cup cakes ,chicken biscuits then rounded off with mini cream eggs. but hey ho its only once a year!
The winners of the easter bonnet competition were 1st Marjory, 2nd Agnes, and 3rd Madeline, each won a prize and a certificate.

Words of appreciation...
- I wish to express my sincere thanks to yourself and to all the staff at Balhousie for their exceptional standard of care and their kindness Daughter of Resident at Balhousie The Glens Care Home
- The thing I most enjoy is the interaction with residents and family members. Being part of a team that delivers high quality care, often in the latter years of an individual's life, while trying to promote their independence is a big responsibility. I think it's hugely important to be able to make that time as easy and comfortable as possible. Manager, Balhousie Lisden Care Home
- What Balhousie Care staff did was beyond the call of duty and we appreciate the work that made Mum's birthday special, even though we had to help her with the blowing out of the candles! Daughter of Resident at Balhousie North Inch Care Home
The goal of Balhousie Care Group is to be acknowledged as the leading and most admired provider of residential care in Scotland.
