Balhousie Care Group is to hold a recruitment drive in Coupar Angus on Thursday 27th January ahead of the opening of its new care home in the town.
The 40-bed care home, which is due to open at the end of March at a cost of £3million, is set to create around 50 jobs for the local area.
Vacancies range from carers and nurses to chefs and housekeeping staff.
Staff from Balhousie Care Group will be at the Red House Hotel from 9.30am to 4pm tomorrow to give prospective employers more information about the opportunities, as well as the care home itself.
Graham Ogilvie, Balhousie Care Group's Commercial Director, said: "Our new home in Coupar Angus is an exciting part of our expansion plans and we are looking forward to opening in March and becoming part of the community in the town.
"The new home means we have created a number of job opportunities and tomorrow's event is a drop-in session aimed at anyone who is interested in finding out more about coming to work for the largest independent operator of care homes in Scotland."
Balhousie Coupar Angus Care Home is situated on Station Road and is being built by G & J Seddon Ltd.
