Staff and residents at the Balhousie Care Group’s brand new care home in Coupar Angus have been invited to attend a Strawberry Tea at their local church.
St Anne’s Church is holding a special event for the home where the guests will be able to enjoy some light refreshments, a sing along and a quiz.
The strawberry tea will be held in St Anne’s Church hall tomorrow (Thursday, August 25) at 2pm.
Care home manager, Lynda Oswald, said: “We are delighted that St Anne’s Church is organising this special afternoon out for all the residents at Coupar Angus.
“We hold a lot of events throughout the year and the residents especially like those where they have the chance to get out and meet some new people in a fun and relaxing environment.”
Balhousie Coupar Angus care home benefits from the very latest building and construction innovations. Use of natural light throughout and tasteful interior design creates a feeling of airiness and space which combine to make this a truly comfortable home for residents.
The new home provides care for up to 40 residents.
The development of the new £3million Balhousie Coupar Angus care home forms a key part of the group’s plans for continued growth.
Since the opening of the first home, Balhousie Lisden Care Home in Kirriemuir, the group has grown through acquisition and new builds to 22 homes, bringing the residential capacity to more than 800.
Last year, Balhousie Care Group announced another major investment programme that will help to increase its number of beds by 1,000 over the next four years, extend and upgrade facilities at seven existing homes and build 14 additional new homes
