The Matner family (pictured: mother Audrey and son Peter) and piper, Andrew Baillie (pictured) provided entertainment on Saturday 21 June, for residents, relatives and friends of Balhousie Stormont Care Home, at their fundraising Strawberry Tea. Mrs. Mary Thomson, who is a resident at Stormont, was a very proud grandma/mother in law as was Mrs Eva Mitchell, the grandmother of Andrew. Fund raising fun included a raffle and a cake & candy stall. Funds raised were equally distributed between the residents comfort fund and CHAS (Balhousie Care Group's nominated charity).

Words of appreciation...
- The thing I most enjoy is the interaction with residents and family members. Being part of a team that delivers high quality care, often in the latter years of an individual's life, while trying to promote their independence is a big responsibility. I think it's hugely important to be able to make that time as easy and comfortable as possible. Manager, Balhousie Lisden Care Home
