Balhousie Willowbank resident, Mrs Betsy Bell celebrated her 100th birthday on Tuesday 8th July with a party for family and friends, and a visit from depute Angus Provost Peter Murphy. Depute Angus Provost Peter Murphy visited Mrs Bell in the morning to deliver a Telegram from The Queen and gift of a knee rug. In the afternoon, four generations of Mrs Bell's family and friends marked the occasion by gathering together at Balhousie Willowbank for a party which was attended by a very special guest, Mrs Bell's first great grandchild, 3 week old Jonah. Mrs Bell's celebrations will continue this weekend with a special dinner which will include relatives coming over from Germany.
