Residents, staff and friends of Balhousie Glens Care Home, Edzell celebrated the Fourth of July with an American Independence Day Afternoon at the Glens Care Home. An American themed buffet lunch included burgers, popcorn and a chocolate fondue with strawberries and marshmallows. Ladies from The Cottage in Edzell attended the event and joined in with a few games of bingo and a raffle. A very enjoyable afternoon was had by all!

Words of appreciation...
- The thing I most enjoy is the interaction with residents and family members. Being part of a team that delivers high quality care, often in the latter years of an individual's life, while trying to promote their independence is a big responsibility. I think it's hugely important to be able to make that time as easy and comfortable as possible. Manager, Balhousie Lisden Care Home
