Fundraising Summer Fete at Balhousie Rumbling Bridge

A Summer Fete was held at Balhousie Rumbling Bridge, Rumbling Bridge on Saturday 26th July to raise funds for Balhousie Rumbling Bridge Residents Comfort Fund and CHAS. A BBQ, Bric-A-Brac, Tombola, Mini Crufts, Face Painting, Raffle and refreshments were enjoyed in the garden of Balhousie Rumbling Bridge Care Home. Following the event Anne Murray, Manager of Balhousie Rumbling Bridge Care Home commented ‘The Summer Fete was well attended by residents, family, staff and friends of Balhousie Rumbling Bridge Care Home, who greatly enjoyed the lovely day. Over £500 has been raised by the event, and all proceeds will go to Balhousie Rumbling Bridge Residents Comfort Fund and CHAS (Balhousie Care Group's nominated charity for 08/09). A highlight of the Fete was ‘Mini Crufts’. One young participant took part by entering his soft toy dog, which caused great amusement among the attendees.’
