A Generous Donation to The Westway Suite Garden

The family and friends of the late Ella Brown, a much loved resident of The Westway Suite at Balhousie Antiquary Care Home, Arbroath, have kindly donated £380.00 to the Balhousie Antiquary Care Home and The Westway Suite Comfort Fund. Ella Kidd, daughter of the late Ella Brown visited the Home to present the cheque to the Home Manager and staff, “This amount was collected at mum’s funeral and we would like to donate this to the secure garden you are setting up at The Westway Suite. We are very grateful to everyone of you for the superb care and attention you gave to mum during her stay”. The family have requested that the Home purchase a Forsythia (Ella’s maiden name was Forsyth) for the garden.

Ella also mentioned that the minister, organist, and flower arranger generously waived their fees for Ella Brown’s funeral to contribute to the donation. A very kind gesture which was appreciated by all!
