Balhousie Luncarty Care Home gets Ready to Disco

The Balhousie Luncarty Care Home in Perthshire is holding a disco on Friday, September 4, to help raise money for the organisation's charity of the year, CHAS.The disco, which is open to all, will run from 8pm till late at the Tulloch Institute club in Perth, and partygoers will be entertained by a DJ as well as having the chance to pick up some great prizes in the raffle or try their hand at karaoke.

This will be the first disco organised by the care home, which is run by leading Scottish care provider Balhousie Care Group.

The money raised from the cost of the tickets will all be donated to CHAS – which provides hospice services in Scotland for children and young people with life-limiting conditions.

Tickets, costing £5 which includes a finger buffet, are available from the Balhousie Luncarty Care Home, Scarth Road, Luncarty, Perthshire, or by calling 01738 828163.Care Home Manager Eveline Moyes said: "We are all really looking forward to holding this disco and I'm sure it is going to be a great success judging by the interest shown already.

"Everyone is working really hard to ensure it is the best it can be and that we manage to raise as much as possible for such a worthwhile charity."

Balhousie Luncarty is registered for 32 residents, of which eight are cared for within the home's specialist dementia unit.
