It's a Balhousie Christmas already at Balhousie Crieff Open Day
15th December 2009
Music in Hospitals singer, Billy Strachan and pianist David Mackie, welcomed a houseful of guests into the home. Christmas music could be heard drifting from the main lounge (occupied by our residents) and then guests were invited to view the newly refurbished specialist Dementia wing, where they were offered warm mulled wine and enjoyed a finger buffet. At this point staff took the opportunity to chat with guests.
Jenny Turnbell and a small children's choir from St Dominic's primary school entertained us all with Christmas carols followed by a short welcome and thank you speech from Marco Truffelli (Chief Operating Officer). Then followed the switching on of the outdoor Christmas tree lights to officially open the unit.

In all a very merry start to our Christmas calendar which residents enjoyed immensely. Thank you everyone who came to see us and made the day so very pleasant.
