Olive's 101st Birthday
5th May 2010
Olive Robertson of Balhousie North Grove Care Home celebrated her 101st birthday with family and friends at a special birthday party at the care home on Wednesday, April 28, where she was presented with cards, gifts and a birthday cake.
Olive has lived at Balhousie North Grove since 2005 and has made many friends, who will be helping to toast her birthday in style.
Dianne Halley, Balhousie North Grove Care Home manager, said: "We are so pleased that Olive is with us at North Grove to celebrate this wonderful occasion.
"It's not every day you turn 101 and we hope to give her a birthday to remember. Everyone at the home would like to wish Olive a very happy birthday!"
Olive was born in Guardbridge, Fife, in 1909 and is the youngest of 10 siblings.
For a large part of her life, she worked in the Fife Paper Mill where she met her late husband, Willie.
