Antiquary residents spent a lovely afternoon being entertained by pupils from Ladyloan Primary School.

The 34 pupils, aged 7 to11, were delighted to get another opportunity to perform songs and dance routines that they’d recently performed during a school competition, and our residents, visitors and care team were more than impressed by the lovely singing as well as the choreography.

After the performance the children were very excited to be presented with an Easter Egg each. Their excitement rubbed off on the residents and we witnessed lots of engaging smiles, ‘oohs’, ‘aahs’ and giggles. The pupils then settled around the residents for a wee chat and some juice.

It’s always heart-warming to see the delight on our resident’s faces whenever youngsters arrive at the home and to watch, and listen, as our resident’s enjoy some memories of their own experiences of childhood, parenthood and, on this occasion, their own schooldays.

Many thanks to Miss Mowatt and Ladyloan Primary School pupils for a lovely afternoon of entertainment and memories.
