On Sunday everyone at Lisden rounded off Dementia Awareness Week with a Purple themed Tea Party in the conservatory. We were also joined by 6 ladies introduced to us by the Contact the Elderly charity which tackles loneliness and isolation within communities. As well as the tea party we had a wonderful session of musical entertainment from one of our carer, Susan’s friends. Paul performed so many old favourites and everyone was soon singing along and generally having a whale of a time.
A lovely afternoon enjoyed by everyone.
