Respite Overview

Do you or someone you know need extra support, following illness or a stay in hospital? Perhaps you want to give a regular carer a well-earned break?

Whatever the motivation, our tailored respite and short-break packages will match the specific care need.

Respite care can last for just a few days, or as long as is needed. It offers a chance to meet new people, enjoy a change of scenery and try out some new activities and experiences. And throughout any stay with us, you can relax; safe in the knowledge we provide the very best standard of care.

What to expect

It’s the personal details that make a home away from home: staying at either Ruthven Towers or Dalnagar you will have your own private bedroom, which you are free to personalise with photographs and treasured items.

Before arrival, we will get to know you — so your stay will get o to a great start. We develop a personal care plan that takes into account your support needs, interests, likes and dislikes, and daily routines.

During your stay, we offer a full range of regular activities, events and outings. Friends and family are also welcome to visit at any time, and can join you for meals or arrange to take you on an outing.
