Hello. I’m Tracy McEwan and I’m the very proud manager of Balhousie Luncarty Care Home.

This elegant, Victorian style property sits in a picture perfect village green setting. Sweeping, rolling lawns surround the home and the driveway to the home is lined with many tall, mature trees which provide a picturesque avenue to the home from the main road. There is an obvious and undeniable air of grandeur about Balhousie Luncarty, much of which stems from the retention of many of the original elegant design features such as the large and imposing sash bay windows, grand walk-in fireplaces and rich wood panelling in the dining room and the main staircase lobby.

The resident lounges also retain the elegance and character of the original drawing and morning rooms. The impressive and extensive grounds have well stocked flower beds, a rockery and a rhododendron hedge, all providing an attractive abundance of colour throughout spring and summer.

Balhousie Luncarty Care Home also has a specialist dementia centre, where residents with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia are looked after by specially trained carers. This area of the care home also provides a grand lounge and resident dining room which overlooks the gardens.
