Although we have some of the most beautiful care homes in Scotland, with very nice rooms and pleasing décor (and in most cases our homes have beautiful gardens for residents to enjoy) we know that the most important aspect of care is not our properties. It's our people, our philosophy and the sensitivity we show to every resident. That's what sets a Balhousie Care home apart from any other.

You see, we never forget that our home becomes your home - and we do everything we can to recognise that.
We encourage our residents to "personalise" their bedroom, by bringing in personal items, place favourite pictures and photographs on the walls, and even bring a favourite chair or small piece of furniture to create that homely and familiar feeling.
We'll try to respond to your personal dietary preferences too (although we think you'll really enjoy the delicious meals prepared fresh daily by our chefs and catering staff).
Ultimately, you can be confident that at a Balhousie Care home, the way we care for you or your loved one will be nothing short of diligent, sensitive, professional and sincere. They are the standards we would want for ourselves - so they're also the ones that we promise to you!
