One of the most important principals at every Balhousie Care home is obtaining a healthy balance between recognising the individuality of every resident in our care, and the need for them to have a real sense of the Balhousie Care home they live in being "their home", in conjunction with accenting the individual character and unique personality of each home.
Impressive and elegant homes, often with beautiful grounds and charming local history, or smaller more "intimate" settings - whatever type or style of Balhousie Care home you choose, you'll always find the same, fundamental commitments in place, ensuring that everything expected of a Balhousie Care home is very much evident.
- Respect for the individual
- Understanding and support for family and friends
- Development of our people
- Excellence in all we do
- Diligence and accuracy in the healthcare and medication requirements of our residents
- Partnership with the local community
We believe that the level of care and attention that our residents enjoy is genuinely second to none. We work closely with the Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care - whose duty it is to monitor and inspect care homes to ensure all relevant standards and processes are in place and being achieved. Our standards and procedures are audited for compliance regularly (internally and externally) and our registered nursing staff or SVQ qualified staff are provided with ongoing career training through our own training and human resources structure.
